It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of Walter J. Smith. He passed away on January 15, 2019. Walter was an amazing man that never met a stranger and was great asset to the Roofers Local #20 along with other locals throughout the United States. Walter's memorial service will be at the Parklawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO 64138 January 26th at 10:00 am. Following the service, there will be a repass and fellowship with family, friends, and all his Union Brothers and Sisters from 12:00 to 3:00 pm at the Roofers Apprenticeship Training Center, 5100 E. 59th Street, Kansas City, MO 64130.
